Kara graduated from Cleveland State University.
Immediately she went to Vegas, where she started
her career as a Catering & Conference Service Manager at
the first AAA Five Diamond Property the Four Seasons
Hotels & Resorts. After 2 years there, Kara was
transferred to the Four Seasons Resort in Scottsdale, AZ to lead up their Catering Department and focus on the small corporate & social markets.
Returning to Ohio in 2006, Kara started working
independently as a planner on various projects around Columbus. After a year of free lancing, Kara decided to create a company that could be modeled after her own standards. Kara will bring her experience and knowledge to your team with passion and accuracy.

with a degree in Hospitality Management, and knew from
a very young age that she wanted to be involved with
weddings and events as her lifelong career. Throughout
her college career she worked at a private club in their
catering and events office planning and executing various
events including many weddings. She was also a
member of various committees during college to plan
large scale campus events.

Jess graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in
Communication and Broadcast Journalism. While
studying at Virginia Tech, she planned and
managed various professional events. After a brief stint with Fox, she put her career on hiatus to follow her husband's career in the National Football League and raise their two beautiful children.
When her husband retired from his playing days, they returned to Ohio to
be closer to their family. Consider it luck or just fate, she met Kara Gobora while coordinating wedding events in the Columbus area and embraced the unparalleled opportunity to work for GoPlanEvents.com.
